This is recently constructed resort, located opposite the beach on the picturesque South Gippsland coast. Set in a stunning natural environment, the resort boasts magnificent views of the Bass Coast and Anderson Inlet, just 5 kilometres from Inverloch township.

On this short break stayput holiday our accommodation is in ocean view rooms with private balconies, (some views restricted by trees) ensuite bathrooms, flat screen television, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. King or twin beds. Rooms are serviced daily. Full breakfast is served in the resort restaurant, dinners at the resort or at local restaurants. Leisurely scenic day trips, plus time to stroll along the beach or relax at the resort, making this a delightful holiday for passengers who enjoy beach settings.

This holiday includes some walking (strolling pace) on several days and may be best suited to those who enjoy this style of activity. On these days, less mobile passengers may travel with the group or choose to remain at the resort and enjoy a less active day.

Day 1 (L,D) HOME, YARRAGON, KORUMBURRA, INVERLOCH

Following Melbourne metropolitan home/hotel pick up (interstate passengers arrive day prior), we depart Melbourne at 10:00 a.m. Travel to Yarragon, browse in the many craft-style shops and enjoy a light lunch. Travel to Nyora to join the South Gippsland Tourist Railway to Korumburra. The steep and windy track skirts its way along the hills of the beautiful Strzelecki Ranges, with spectacular views across Gippsland towards Phillip Island and the Wonthaggi coast. Then to our home for five nights, RACV Resort, Inverloch.

Day 2 (B,L,D) TARWIN LOWER, VENUS BAY, CAPE PATERSON

Visit Tarwin Lower and Venus Bay situated on a narrow peninsula of land, bordered on one side by the wild oceans of Bass Strait and on the other by the calm waters of Anderson Inlet. Following a light lunch we visit the Bunurong Shell Museum and enjoy the Bunurong Coastal Drive, a stunning 14 kilometre stretch of coastline between Cape Paterson and Inverloch.

Day 3 (B,L,D) KILCUNDA, CHURCHILL ISLAND

Today we visit Kilcunda cliffs and Churchill Island with its historic working farm and original 1872 homestead. Visit the Koala Conservation Centre for an opportunity to get very close to wild koalas. Lunch at the Seal Centre Cafe at the Nobbies before returning to Inverloch via Cowes, Phillip Island’s main settlement.

Day 4 (B,L,D) FOSTER, WILSONS PROMONTORY

Today we visit Wilsons Promontory National Park. Enjoy extensive coastal views above Foster and visit the Foster Museum on route to the most southern coastline on the Australian mainland. Take in the views of Mt Oberon before arriving at Tidal River. Following lunch there is time to visit the Information Centre, enjoy a short stroll to Norman Bay or try the Loo Ern boardwalk, great for those with limited mobility. Enjoy afternoon cuppa at Fish Creek.

Day 5 (B,L,D) MIRBOO NORTH, INVERLOCH

Enjoy a morning cuppa and view the murals at Mirboo North before returning via Meeniyan to enjoy a light lunch at Koonwarra. We have some free time this afternoon to relax at the resort.

Day 6 (B,L) INVERLOCH, LEONGATHA, HOME

We return via Leongatha, lunch at Loch Village, home to antique and craft shops, bric-a-brac stores, galleries, original buildings and colourful cottage gardens. We arrive in Melbourne at approximately 3:00 p.m. Metropolitan home, hotel and airport transfers complete a most relaxing stayput holiday at Inverloch.
