Day 1 (L,D) HOME, MAROOCHYDORE, NOOSAVILLE
Flights today takes us to the Sunshine Coast Airport where we journey north to Noosaville and The Islander Resort, our home for six nights. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere or take a walk along the Noosa River. Later, we meet together for a welcome drink and dinner nearby.
Day 2 (B,L,D) NOOSA, TEWANTIN
A relaxing morning around Noosaville as we stroll along famous Hastings Street and visit Laguna Lookout before catching the Noosa Ferry to Tewantin. Following lunch, we explore the small village of Tewantin Village on the Noosa River before retracing our steps (on the ferry!) back to Noosaville.
Day 3 (B,L,D) BLACKALL RANGE, MALENY
We enjoy the stunning scenery of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and Blackall Range today, where every road is a “scenic route”. We travel to Maleny and enjoy a picnic morning tea at the Baroon Pocket Dam before spending time at the Mary Cairncross Park. Experience one of the world’s great panoramas and an enchanting, untouched rainforest. After a light lunch, there is free time in the craft village of Maleny nestled in rolling hills with a magnificent backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains and Sunshine Coast.
Day 4 (B,L,D) EUMUNDI MARKET, NOOSA RIVER CRUISE
It’s market day! Eumundi Market is situated in the heart of the historic town of Eumundi. The iconic and towering heritage-listed fig trees rise above more than 500 unique market stalls. Late morning we join a luncheon cruise aboard the Noosa Queen. Some free time on our return to our hotel.
Day 5 (B,L,D) MOOLOOLABA
The amazing UnderWater World Sealife Aquarium on Mooloolaba Wharf is home to thousands of sea creatures. During our guided tour we walk underwater through the glass viewing tunnel and see Australia’s marine life like never before! Lunch here in this magical setting. During the afternoon we travel the coastal scenic road as we return to Noosa.
Day 6 (B,L,D) BUDERIM GINGER FACTORY, MONTVILLE
Today at the amazing Buderim Ginger Factory we board the historic Ginger train, taking us through the rainforest and tropical gardens of this property. We visit Nutworks displaying the harvesting and packing of macadamias. We continue to Wappa Dam then lunch in Mapleton. The afternoon is spent visiting Montville, the picturesque artistic centre of the Blackall Range. A special farewell dinner tonight.
Day 7 (B,L) NOOSAVILLE, MAROOCHYDORE, HOME
As our relaxing holiday draws to a close, we transfer to the Sunshine Coast airport at Maroochydore, to join homebound flights, completing our relaxing holiday in the warm winter sun.
